In collaboration with an experiential production agency, InCast staffed a 7 day activation of a curated retail pop-up to bring the Pleasing spring collection launch experience to life in three major markets, including Euro. We hired a total of 6 team members nationwide in 3 cities:
  • LA
  • New York
  • London

Pleasing the Pleasing Fans IRL

Production Assistants and Brand Ambassadors embodied the Pleasing brand during this 1 week multi-market pop-up experience. While assisting guests with merchandise purchases, staff educated brand fans about the founder-led effort to blur boundaries between identity, product, and humanity. Engaging with beginners and experts alike, staff demonstrated fragrance-free products are easy to add to any routine. The fans connected with the brand’s pursuit of sustainable formulas and progress over perfection. A total of 18 team members were activated to be inclusive of the desired target audience and support diversity in their respective marketplaces.

Activation Results

Despite long-wait times to enter due to fan anticipation, this immersive experience brought a cheerful smile to anyone’s face. Bright colors and energetic music embodied the Pleasing brand in the quaint footprint. Fans took photos within the pop-up to expand brand awareness on social media and take home digital memories.  The Staff’s Approach:

How Customers Were Engaged: Brand Ambassadors wore on-trend nail colors and invited guests to shop the new collection. BAs over-engaged in customer service to elevate the guest experience and brand impression. Production assistants and BAs interacted with fans in line as well as within the footprint to move through the experience and complete purchases.  Provided for Activation:

  • Exclusive tee-shirt & crew neck sweatshirt to wear
  • Story-telling pillars and talking points

  • 1,000+ fans per day engaged

All of the staff assigned for Pleasing were consistent, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure the fans were taken care of. We will definitely be partnering with InCast for as many events as possible!
